Stanley Forman Reed was a Justice, U.S. Supreme Court from 1938. He was born Dec. 31, 1884 in Mason County, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1902 and Yale University in 1906. He was admitted to the bar in 1910 and he began practice at Maysville, Kentucky. He was solicitor general of the U.S from 1933-38. He served as a first lieutenant in WWI.
Brother Reed was a member of Maysville Lodge No. 52, Maysville, Kentucky and was present in Washington, D.C. on December 16, 1941, when General George C. Marshall, was raised.
