Judge Darius Brown was Kansas City City Attorney from 1898 to 1900. He was the official court reporter for the Jackson County Circuit Court from 1905 to 1910. He was elected to the Circuit Court in 1928 for a six year term and re-elected to a second term. He was elected to the city Council in 1909 to 1910 and to mayor of Kansas City in 1910.
