Occupation: Physician retired, was an anesthesiologist, and is a past chairman of the Department of Surgery at North Kansas City Hospital. He served 27 of his 46 year medical career as an attending anesthesiologist at North Kansas City Hospital and he was also instrumental in opening and directing the new outpatient surgery center at the Health Services Pavilion. He served as president of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists and received honors from that organization including the Crawford-Myles Esterline award and the Distinguished Service Award.
